My mother thinks I'm handsome!
So you took the time to get to know a bit more about me, eh?
Not much to say really. I'm just a guy who enjoys writing and sharing that writing with others. In the past it's been a few people I consider friends but I hope to widen my audience a bit. As of right now I'm in my early twenties and lived in London, England, my whole life. I hope you get to know me a bit better as you explore the site, take the time to look what I've worked on.
I'm really into prehistory, ever since I can remember. I am especially fascinated by speculating how prehistoric creatures would've looked like and acted when they were alive. That's the biggest inspiration for my writing honestly. I'm also into anthropology and history, ancient and medieval history especially. And I'm always fascinated by some good old mysteries, be they paranormal or just something we don't have the answers to yet!
Here's me with Sophie, a 150 million year old Stegosaurus. I always did like older women. Especially of the several tonne reptilian variety.
Red, if you couldn't already guess from the site.
Hard to pick just one! I like primates (especially Orangutans), Reptiles (I have a cornsnake, his name is Titan for Titanoboa), Dogs (Especially Beagles, I have a Beagle and a Labrador) and dinosaurs of course.
Enjoying a lazy day in the sun with my best mates.
Writing, Reading, I enjoy going for walks (especially in the woods), playing video games and watching cartoons! I also enjoy fossil hunting although there aren't many where I live. Although I've been to The Jurassic Coast in Dorset a fair few times and I plan to go to Abbey Wood sometime! I also play Dungeons and Dragons.
Ammonite Fossil I found in the Charmouth cliffs back in my last visit to the Jurassic Coast back in September 2024
I tend to go for science fiction and fantasy movies. I also enjoy light-hearted comedies. I'm a bit of a wuss so I haven't really gotten into horror yet. If I had to highlight some favourites they would be: Prince of Egypt, Nimona, Guardians of The Galaxy and Dune (The new ones).
Like with movies I tend to go for Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I really enjoy cartoons, especially anime and I love just losing myself in an episodic story. Some favourites of mine here are: Futurama, Doctor Who, Arcane, Superhero Cartoons (especially Young Justice, My Adventures With Superman, Spectacular Spider-Man) as well as Andor. As I said I'm a bit of a weeb so my anime picks would be: Mob Psycho 100, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Dungeon Meshi and Attack on Titan.
I like reading. I have a bit of an addiction to buying books whenever I go out. Really I should learn to stay away from 2nd hand book shops and charity shops but they call to me. I enjoy Sci-Fi and Fantasy stories and I feel books are the best way to explore fictional worlds. I also love reading comics. Some favourites here are: Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy, Larry Niven's Known Space, Dinosaur Sanctuary, Invincible and God Killer. I also enjoy reading books about prehistory. I'd especially recommend Rise and Fall of The Dinosaurs and Ancient Sea Reptiles. I have also been getting into short stories and anthologies recently.
I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember. Growing up I had a Wii and a 3DS but the former was gotten rid of and the latter is in a drawer somewhere. I have since graduated to a PC (which is also where I do most of my writing). I especially enjoy RPGs and Simulation games. I like games where I can embody someone else and get into another character. I said books are the best way to explore fictional worlds but I feel like that's as a writer's perspective. I love games with rich worlds to explore filled with hidden areas and secrets to uncover. I particularly enjoy: Cyberpunk 2077, The Mass Effect trilogy, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, The Sims, Witcher 3 and Deep Rock Galactic.
Screencapture taken inside Cyberpunk 2077 (2020, CD Projekt Red) using NVidia. I love games with worlds that feel alive!
I'm not really a big music guy. I just listen to whatever I feel like. If I had to pin down a few genres I'd say soundtrack, rock and J-Pop are some standouts. I like listening to game soundtrack whilst I work or write. I can't really pin down artists or bands I really follow. I enjoy music by many composers who do scores for games and movies such as P.T. Adamczyk, Ramin Djawadi and Michael Giacchino. Hans Zimmer and John Williams really go without saying. As for others I enjoy some of the music by Tokyo Taboo, Linked Horizon, LiSA and Bea Miller.
