MEET MICHELLE
With a degree in Health Science, Michelle has spent the past 15 years forging a diverse and impactful career in the health and wellness industry. From cancer research to running a clinical nutrition practice, and more recently, excelling as a Health & Wellbeing Program Manager in a corporate setting, Michelle has consistently championed holistic health strategies designed to nurture both mind and body.
Michelle discovered her passion for the Pilates method about 10 years ago during a challenging period of her life. Struggling with anxiety and depression, she found that these personal battles affected not only her mental health but her physical wellbeing as well.
Regular Pilates practice became a transformative force, helping her regain balance, strength, and clarity. This pivotal experience sparked a deeper curiosity about human movement and the profound mind-body connection central to the Pilates method.
After years of refining her personal practice and relocating from Sydney to the Central Coast, Michelle pursued formal Pilates teacher training, and not long after opened The Wellbeing Spot Pilates Studio in Booker Bay.
Michelle is passionate about empowering individuals through personalised Pilates practices. She understands that no two bodies are the same and tailors her approach to help clients discover their potential, set meaningful goals, and achieve them.
As Joseph Pilates said, “Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness,” and Michelle is dedicated to helping others find that happiness through mindful movement.
