1: Easy 360 VR Design
Space Challenge 1: 360 VR Designs:
You will need just an equirectangular grid (2:1 aspect ratio), linked below, then you can make a virtual space with any image editing software like Photoshop, or print and draw one on paper with a pencil. Then upload your final work as a high resolution .jpg, or upload them to Flickr and add them to this group to view them in 360 space. Then share the link on this document. Test out your work many times if you are doing yours on paper, to make sure you are getting the effect you are going for. If you are working in pencil, add color with colored pencil to complete your work, or do a highly detailed pencil drawing with at least some shading.
1: Easy 3D Sculpting
Sculpt an object using a program like AutoDesk's Mudbox (if you are a student you have free access) or this online sculpting tool. You need to use at least one texture stamps from an alpha map like the ones recommended in the video sold here or get free ones here. You may need to open these in photoshop and save as .png for them to work. Export your final sculpture as an STL or OBJ and upload it to the discussion board.
