Tim grew up in Meridian, Idaho, and headed to Salem, Oregon, for college at Corban University. During his junior year in 1998, he spent a semester studying abroad in Israel with the IBEX program, even getting the chance to explore Egypt and Jordan. After graduating, he eventually made his way back to the Boise area. He went on to earn a Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary, and by the summer of 2006, he was in Nigeria teaching at Trinity Bible College.
Life really picked up in 2007 when he and Melissa got married, and he began working as a systems administrator for Mission Aviation Fellowship. Their family grew with the arrival of Lauren in 2012 and Andre in 2015. Always a student at heart, Tim started a ThM at Western Seminary in 2016 while also serving as the registrar for North Portland Bible College. In 2018, the family moved back to Meridian, where Tim spent a few years as a programmer for DC Engineering. These days, after a stint as the Associate Pastor of Youth and Family at Grace Bible Church of Boise, he’s come full circle and is back with Mission Aviation Fellowship as of 2024.
Tim enjoys the great outdoors, including activities such as waterskiing, and motor cycling & ATV-ing in the mountains and desert. He has visited over one hundred hot springs in Idaho. He also enjoys computer gaming, home automation, reading, electric guitar, and electronics.
