Tim Hettinger

Tim is from Meridian, Idaho. For college, he went to Corban University in Salem, Oregon. In the Fall 1998 semester, Tim studied abroad in Israel with the Master's University IBEX program, also visiting Egypt and  Jordan. After college, Tim eventually returned to the Boise area. He continued his education earning a Masters of Divinity from the Masters Seminary. In the summer of 2006, Tim traveled to Nigeria to teach at Trinity Bible College, Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria. Tim and Melissa were married in November of 2007. Tim then became a Systems Administrator for Mission Aviation Fellowship. In 2012, Lauren joined the family, and in 2015 Andre arrived. In 2016, Tim returned to school at Western Seminary, pursuing a ThM. Concurrently, we worked at North Portland Bible College as registrar for a year. In 2018, the moved back to Meridian, and Tim worked for DC Engineering as a programmer, until 2022. Tim then started serving at Associate Pastor of Youth and Family at Grace Bible Church of Boise. In 2024, he returned to Mission Aviation Fellowship.

Tim enjoys the great outdoors, including activities such as waterskiing, and motor cycling & ATV-ing in the mountains and desert. He has visited over one hundred hot springs in Idaho. He also enjoys computer gaming, home automation, reading, electric guitar, and electronics.
