Approximately 70 to 80% of people with acute HCV do not show symptoms
Of those that do have symptoms, symptoms include:
Fever
Fatigue
Loss of Appetite
Nausea
Vomiting
Abdominal Pain
Dark Urine
Clay-Colored Bowel Movements
Joint Pain and/or
Jaundice
HCV is also infectious to other people even when the carrier does not have symptoms
If symptoms occur, they typically show 6 to 7 weeks after exposure, but can range from 2 weeks to 6 months
