I completed my Ph.D. from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, where I was advised by Prof. Mark Wilde and Prof. Ziv Goldfeld. I received my B.Sc. in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and M.Sc. from Cornell University, USA, in 2018 and 2023, respectively. Before joining Cornell in 2021, I was a lecturer at the University of Moratuwa. I was also a research intern at the Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2017. I was a Graduate TA Development Consultant in the College of Engineering at Cornell University in 2024/25. I was recognized as a Trailblazing Young Researcher by Caltech in 2024 and by the Robert Mozia Distinguished Service Award from the College of Engineering at Cornell University in 2025.
In conjunction with my academic interests, I'm also passionate about outreach, volunteering, and community engagement.
