Theshani Nuradha
Ph.D. Candidate
Cornell University

Hello!

I'm a fourth year Ph.D. student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, where I'm fortunate to be advised by Prof. Mark Wilde and Prof. Ziv Goldfeld. My research interests are in the interconnection of classical and quantum information theory, privacy, and statistical learning. I received my B.Sc. in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and M.Sc. from Cornell University, USA in 2018, and 2023, respectively. Before joining Cornell in spring 2021, I was a lecturer at University of Moratuwa. I was also a research intern at Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2017.

In conjunction with my academic interests, I'm also passionate about outreach, volunteering, and community engagement. To this end, I'm part of Expanding Your Horizons, Graduate Student Outreach Program (GRASSHOPR), Write a Researcher, Sri Lankan Association at Cornell University and ScholarX.
