Charlotte Cotton Candy

Set throughout the canonic events of One Piece. 

Upon learning the truth behind her mother's plot for her little sisters marriage she was horrified and at first refused to be a part of the celebration. However, due to her mother's temper and her older brother's urging she relented to attend. When the Straw Hats arrived to save their chief she secretly worked against her family, causing many guards to 'fall asleep' on their shift and other small deeds that wouldn't be noticed. She ended up meeting Sanji by accident when he came looking for ingredients, upon which she gave him some of her freshly made cupcakes with frosted sugar topping and gave him a pouch of her magic sugar. It was her kindness and clear dislike of what her family was forcing upon her sister and Sanji that led to her helping the Straw Hat's escape and then subsequently joining their crew. 

The Sugar Sugar fruit is similar to the Pero Pero no Mi and Mochi Mochi no Mi that were eaten by Candy's older brothers. Many who believe in the myths of the fruits think of her fruit as the sister to Perospero's, or lost lover depending on who ate the fruit. Often where one is found so is the other. In the case of her and her brother, he found her's when he found his and then later gifted it to her when it became clear that she was as sweet as sugar.
