The stage is set at Xbox’s latest E3 Conference, and John Vechey is onstage to make some announcements.
Thank you. Thanks guys, that was amazing. Now, I’d say I was speechless, but like last time, I’m not. That’s why I’m proud to announce, coming this year. P-
Before John Vechey could announce the game, the Giant Enemy Duo crashed on stage through the roof as uproar filled the room.
Wha- What the heck? What’s going on? Wait a minute, aren’t you those giants we called over for S.A.L.T.? Why are you here?
The Giant Enemy Crab lowered his claw to the stage floor, and Jerma hopped off to talk with Vechey.
Oh, we’re really sorry about that. We were looking for directions to the diner and Crab here had the brilliant idea of crashing your E3 conference. Isn’t that right, Crab?
… { t }
That means yes, they speak in beatboxes.
So I’m guessing you’re their translator, then?
Yeah, pretty much.
Well look, I have an E3 Conference to wrap up, so please just… stand there, I guess, while I go finish this. I’ll help you guys out once this is all done.
John Vechey turns to the audience.
Guys, please, calm down. Everything is under control, no need to panic. Now, without further ado, it is my honor and my privilege to announce...
PEGGLE 2 DELUXE!
Vechey leaps high into the air as the room is filled with graceful opera music. The crowd rejoices, for Peggle 2 Deluxe has come to grace the world.
The E3 Conference wraps up and Vechey goes over to Jerma and the Giant Enemy Duo to talk with them.
Ok, I can get you guys to the diner, but why did you think it was a good idea to crash the conference?
… { B tb Psh K }
He said, “Well, I like E3 a lot and wanted to visit.”
{ B t t t / Psh t t B } (I told you it was a bad idea, but noooo! We have to crash the conference!)
{ Bb Bb Bb } (B-b-but...)
{ Psh t Psh t } (I don’t care, I knew this would cause problems.)
The Crab slightly sulks.
Did they just argue?
Yep.
An argument in beatboxes. I guess you see something new everyday. Anyways, I can call up Skeletor to get us to the diner, but in the meantime, why don’t I give those big guys an interview?
Sure! Why not?
Jerma turns to the two behemoths.
Hey, you guys wanna do an interview before we get to the diner?
The Crab lights up and quickly nods up and down, much to the distaste of the Spider resting on his head.
{ Psh Psh Psh / Psh Psh Psh } (Hey, hey, hey, calm down Crab, calm down!)
Alright then, first question. What brought you two together?
{ B - / Psh - / B B / Psh - }
“Well, I remember people saying we were both funny big enemies, so we met up and became friends!”
{ B / Pf / B / Pf }
“I’ll admit, your stories of Feudal Japan were quite interesting."
Daww, that’s kind of nice. Okay then, moving on to the next question. Why are you two labelled as "enemies"?
{ B tkt / Psh B / tkt B / Psh tkt }
“To be frank, that’s just how we were introduced and it stuck. However, we mean no harm to anybody. Crab here likes smashing stuff though.”
The Crab becomes briefly excited at the mention of destruction, but the Spider stomps down one of his legs to let the Crab know not to smash anything.
Well, I’m glad you mean no harm to anybody. Anyways, what’s it like being giants?
{ B t t b / Psh - t b / t t t b / Psh - t b }
“It’s very cool! You can be big and imposing, and smashing things is fun! Though it’s hard to get personal space sometimes.”
Well don’t worry about personal space, we’ll make sure to find proper accommodation for you at the diner!
(Boy, am I glad our parking lot is huge.)
As for one last question, why do you speak in beatboxes?
{ B T T / B k T T }
“It’s a native tongue for most Giant Enemies, us included.”
Well, that was a fantastic interview. Thank you for your time, I’ll go call up Skeletor and get you guys to the diner.
The Giant Enemies light up in excitement, and the Crab helps Jerma back on top of the Spider. Vechey walks a short distance away and pulls out his phone to dial Skeletor.
Yeah, Skeletor? It’s me, Vechey. I’m calling because we need to get someone to the diner. Yes one of the contestants. It’s the big guys, GED. Yeah, you should probably bring the truck. Alright, see you soon.
