It’s another busy day for the SALT Diner, as Tonio and Niko are preparing the many orders going around. The problem is: a majority of these orders were placed off-location. Some of the contestants had to momentarily return to their homelands to cater to various issues. Which means that the diner is in need of a delivery service, and there's a perfect person for the job...
Niko, could you see if Takumi is or isn't busy with anything at the moment? I need him to carry out these dishes.
Will do!
Niko heads off to get Takumi, who is relaxing in his room.
Hey there, Niko. More orders to deliver?
More like a lot of orders... So many people from so many places!
No worries, Niko. I'll take care of it.
Takumi swiftly leaves the room, with Niko in tow.
Yo, Tonio, where to?
I need this fresh pepperoni pizza to be delivered to the Devil May Cry agency. Afterwards, Mordecai and Rigby asked for what they call "The Eggscelent Challenge". Finally, the Penguins ordered some ice cold sushi and a bag of Cheezy Dibbles.
You can count on me.
Takumi takes the food and heads off to deliver it. As he exits the diner, Etemon rolls in with his truck.
Hey hey hey, Takumi! Fancy a race?
Takumi promptly ignores Etemon and walks over to his car. Etemon remains sitting there, pointing at the drifter.
Woah-ho-hoh, did ya hear me right?
Yes.
Aw, c'mon! Scared I'm gonna beat ya?
Nope. I wish I could race, Etemon, but I’m busy. I’ll catch you later.
And just like that, he's gone. Takumi drives away quickly, leaving Etemon to sulk in the dust. His first stop: Devil May Cry. He gives Dante a quick call before arrival.
Devil May Cry, what can we do for ya today?
Oi, Dante. Your order's here.
Ah, Takumi my man! Same spot?
Mhm.
Alright, sweet. Just wait a couple of minutes, alright?
Sure thing.
Takumi hangs up and waits outside the shop. While he waits, a bunch of demons spawn in front of him. Takumi, however, looks completely unfazed by the situation. The demons continue to approach, and only now has he noticed.
Dante jumps out to take care of all the demons that spawned in front of Takumi. A spot of blood had splattered on the car, but a quick swipe of the windshield wipers (and maybe a good wash afterward) easily gets rid of it.
Sorry it took so long, had to take care of somethin' back at the shop.
Not a problem. Here's the pizza.
Takumi heads off to the next stop, leaving Dante to enjoy the cheesy goodness of the pizza.
That hit the spot! Tonio, you the man!
As Takumi drives off, he hears a honking noise in the distance.
Takumi!!! Down for a race now?
Takumi remains silent and swerves away to avoid Etemon. He looks on in disbelief.
Takumi drives off to the Park where Mordecai and Rigby reside. He parks perfectly in front of the main house and honks the horn to notify these slackers. Mordecai peeps out the window and gets excited.
Dude, food’s here!
Sweet! Uh… you’re paying for this, right?
What? No. I paid for it last time.
Oh, c'mon! Just this once?
No, dude. It’s your turn. Now get out there and pay for the food. The sooner we can get this Egscelent Challenge over with, the better.
Mordecai points to the door, and Rigby walks through it in shame. Takumi rolls out the window and peeks out to speak with Rigby.
Hey, Takumi.
Good afternoon, here's your order. Twelve eggs topped with chili and cheese, two biscuits, and a fruit bowl, correct?
Yep! Let's see if me and Mordecai can beat our personal best...
Well... good luck with that.
Etemon decides to catch Takumi before he leaves for the next customer, showing up uninvited at the Park.
Alright, Takumi! It’s time to rock and roll! Let’s get racing.
I said later, Etemon. I’ll see ya.
Takumi leaves Etemon behind and drives off to his next and final locale, the Central Park Zoo, to meet up with the Penguins of Madagascar.
Hey, wanna help us with this Eggscelent Challenge?
...Eh, why not? Neat way to pass the time.
Takumi enters the vicinity of Central Park Zoo, but he parks in a nearby sewer lid. Takumi walks out with the order and knocks on the manhole cover, which Skipper briefly moves over and emerges from.
State your name and purpose, soldier.
Uhh... Takumi. I deliver your food.
Hmm... If you really are the real Takumi Fujiwara, then what's our order?
Looks like a platter of sushi and a bag of... cheese puffs?
Ooh, those are my Cheezy Dibbles!
You ordered Cheezy Dibbles without permission, Private?
I’m sorry, Skipper! I just really wanted some...
Y'know what? I could actually go for some Cheezy Dibbles right about now. Good thinking, Private!
Thanks, Skipper!
Alright, well, your order's right here.
Hand it over!
Takumi set down the platter and bag, which was swiftly taken away by a tiny pair of flippers.
Alright, Takumi. Good work.
I’m just the delivery guy. You can thank Tonio for the actual food.
The sewer lid closes and Takumi returns to his car. However, he is interrupted once more by Etemon.
Okay, Takumi! You ready now?
You know what? I think I've filled out the quota for today. Why not?
Alriiiight! Get ready to lose, chump!
The two get into position and rev their engines.
You ready?
Let's rock!
The gas has been stepped on, though Takumi's AE86 speeds off much faster than Etemon's truck. Why? It seems that Etemon forgot to fill up on gas before the race, and how he's left in the dust.
What?! Ah, this ain't right! One day, Fujiwara! I'll race ya 'til the end of time!
Takumi races off with a heavy sigh, grateful that he doesn’t have to deal with that meddling puppet monkey for a good while.
