In 2015, Linda Shirley Robertson, Lainie Andrew, and Jerry Stocks met for three sessions in Beaufort, SC knowing that they wanted to form an women's' organization that would be a learning experience for all members.

An organizational meeting, with twelve members, took place on January 12, 2016. Lainie was elected President, and Jerry Vice President.

Jerry Stocks
Jerry named the organization created bylaws, Lainie procured a meeting place, and Linda cheered them on. Jerry presented the first program in February, 2015 and The Sage Society was officially launched.
