Evidence Based and Effective Approaches

The Reading and Learning Clinic of Manitoba is committed to offering professional development which presents evidence-based and effective models of instruction to support all learners in our schools.

Our courses are based upon current research as well as fundamental knowledge of how we learn (cognitive science) which has been established through decades of study within the fields of linguistics, neuroscience and psychology including language-literacy research and reading science.

We focus upon instructional methods and approaches which are specifically targeted to those students who might have a label of learning disabilities but can be used in any instructional context.
