If you encounter a message stating "There is no disk space left on drive C" while downloading a file or video from the internet, it indicates insufficient space on your Local Disk C to save the file. This occurs because IDM (Internet Download Manager) defaults to storing files on Local Disk C.

To address this issue, you need to adjust the location of IDM files to a drive with sufficient space for download and storage. You can select any Local Disk Drive with available space, but ensure you have the Lifetime activated version of IDM before proceeding.

Fix IDM: There is no disk space left on drive C to store downloaded file parts

• Start by creating a directory on a drive with ample storage for the desired download.

• Open IDM and go to the "Options" menu. Select the "Save to" tab.

• Find the "Browse" button under the "Temporary Directory" section. Choose the folder created in the first step.

• Right-click on the file in IDM, select the option to move or rename.

• Choose a directory with sufficient space to save the file. Click on Start download or resume if the file is already downloading.

• IDM will divide the downloaded file into parts and merge them at the end to create a single file.

• Done! The problem is resolved. If you wish to revert to the original location, ensure to keep a copy before making changes.
