Puppet Guild of South Florida
January meeting and workshop
Date : Saturday 01/21/2023
Time : 2:00pm until we’re done
Place: 701 W Palmetto Park Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33486, USA
New Year and a New place to meet.
Puppetry starts with a story.
Puppetry continues with the puppets.
BUT Puppetry is performed on a PUPPET STAGE.
Join us for a workshop in making small toy theater stages.
Toy Theater is a very versatile form of puppetry that can cover and include many types of puppets; from Shadow Puppets, to Rod Puppets, to a Cranky Roll, and then to actual Toy Theater Puppets!
Join us and learn something about fabulous little toy theater stages, and leave with your own (that you’ve made).
If you have a cardboard box that you want to use, please bring it! We’ll have a variety of boxes so don’t worry if you do not have a box in the house (shoe box, Amazon box, cat litter box, cereal box - the choice is yours but remember the size of the stage will be limited by your choice).
Please RSVP as space will be limited.
