Purpose: The purpose of public relations staffers is to connect to the student body, parents, and faculty. This can be accomplished by promoting our yearbook or other media at events. A public relations staffer must possess the ability to talk with other people to relate, persuade, and inform the individual of certain topics. PR marketing does not have to promote a product, but it's a good way of increasing "brand" awareness, especially when others know who you represent. Public relations staffers are encouraged to create social media content, propose marketing and event ideas, and create awareness of the yearbook and its subsidiaries.
