What is Occupational Course of Study?
Occupational Course of Study is a pathway that leads to a North Carolina Diploma. It is designed to prepare students for the workplace. Students entering 9th grade in the 2014-2015 or later school years must complete 150 School Based Training hours, 225 Community-Based Training hours, and 225 Paid Employment Hours. It is imperative that students complete all coursework and participates in all of the required hours in order to obtain a North Carolina Diploma.
