Every practitioners membership starts with a core hours block, starting with just 2 hours for tier 1 membership, rising to 4 hours for Tier 2 and 8 hours for Tier 3 membership.
Having at least two consecutive studio hours in your professional diary creates the focus you need to consolidate your core working hours.
Working in blocks of time creates a more efficient, profitable structure to your practice.
We encourage our practitioners to also block out time for their own wellbeing: in our experience of working with many practitioners, a scattered , truly unstructured working week is rarely sustainable.
Once you become a member, we invite you to download and use our Practitioners App. The app enables you to book additional clinic time, subject to availability, from 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.
You can use our app to check clinic availability while agreeing treatment or therapy times with your clients.
This provides you with the flexibility you need to respond to clients who want to see you outside of your core hours.
Use this time and flexibility to find the days and hours that you can most reliably fill with client appointments.
Practice guiding clients to book appointments at your preferred time and day.
As a wellbeing & holistic practitioner, you might have a strong instinct for empathy and understanding. That's a wonderful quality that will become a stress point in the event that clients run late or forget that they booked an appointment. Protect your empathy muscles with a cancellation policy.
Minimise the risk and cost of last minute cancellations by fine tuning a cancellation policy that works for you and your practice. Make sure you share the complete cancellation policy with ALL your clients at the earliest opportunity.
A clear cancellation policy and required 24 or 48 hours notice by phone, text or WhatsApp (not email though!) will give you the opportunity to choose whether to carry the cost and reschedule your client, or to insist on payment.
Talk about your treatments, therapies and excellent service/results on social media. Follow your current clients, local businesses, friends and family. Like their posts, reels and stories (stay true to yourself, you don't need to like everything). Post at least once a week.

Clients need to know that you are there for them. Keep letting them know that your therapy /treatment is ready for them at The Northgate Clinic.
With smart use of social media and always offering to book the next appointment at the end of every treatment, our practitioners are able to encourage clients to take up appointments for their core hours every week.
If you've mastered booking consecutive appointments, you will not only be able to establish a healthy work/life balance, but you will see the potential to move up to Tier 2 or Tier 3 membership for even better value pricing (and profitability).
