"A small step into a giant leap"

  Sidetapa, is an ancient village and it is one of several villages of Bali Aga in the Regency of Buleleng or widely called internationally as the North Bali. The rest of villages which belong to Bali Aga of North Bali, namely are Cempaga, Tigawasa, Pegawa and Bayusri in short dubbed as SCTP +B. .  Bali Aga is also called Bali Kuno or Ancient Bali and in fact it has quite distinctive different culture compared with the villages on the north or the south of Bali. . And it may not exaggerated to say that Sidetapa is a unique village. 

  Attributed to its uniqueness, the village of Sidetapa has been visited by tourists and travellers alike, domestically and internationally.  Besides its natural beauties such as the green environment of the village, fantastic view to the north of the stretch of the North Bali’s coastline and tailored with its uniqueness which cannot be found everywhere the world. 

  The people of Sidetapa was said in the old days having generally hard temper, it might be attributed to its isolation and nowadays it has no trace of such a temper and currently it may surprising to find that generally the people of this village are humble and friendly and it is may be due to the village is no more isolated, easily accessible either from Denpasar the capital of Bali Province or Singaraja the capital of Buleleng Regency. The people of the village are more educated and many young villagers are educated outside of Bali, working overseas such as working at a cruise ship which gives them more wider horizon of knowledge and experiences and starting realizing of their potential of the village regarding tourism. They strongly realize that through tourism they are able to improve the standard of living or lifting up the welfare of the villagers.

 In this direction, some prominent villagers such as team local teachers  and Komang Rena, just to name a few had an idea of educating the young people to learn English of which they believe that  educating English since they are still small kids they would more interesting in mastering English, they would think in English and in the long run they will be prepared to handle tourists.
