Lance Morgan is President and Chief Executive Officer of Ho-Chunk, Inc. The corporation is owned by the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska with the mission of advancing socio-economic development of its people through a world-class company.
Morgan is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe and one of the founders of Ho-Chunk, Inc. Under his leadership, the corporation has grown to a thousand employees across numerous subsidiary companies with annual revenues reaching $270 million. The award-winning business model reinvests in the Winnebago community through programs including employment, housing, education and health.
Morgan is also the managing partner in the law firm of Fredericks, Peebles and Morgan, LLP. The firm specializes in Indian law with offices across the county. Morgan is a board member for several corporate entities and has consulted with hundreds of tribal governments on economic development and taxation.
Morgan is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Nebraska (1990) and graduated from Harvard Law School (J.D. 1993).
