Outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo introduced Angat Buhay as a non-government organization following the initiated volunteerism spirit that was observed during their campaign.

Robredo is set to launch Angat Buhay NGO on July 1 to continue extending help to Filipino people and in support of the needy.

On her thanksgiving on May 13, Robredo expressed her gratitude to all the volunteers who had been part of every campaign throughout the eight months of the campaign period.

She further stated that even when the results of the elections were not in their favor, they must rest if needed, yet it is most especially a need to get back on track with greater visions to pursue their bared plans and aspirations.

“Unang araw ng Hulyo, ilulunsad ang Angat Buhay NGO. Bubuuin ang pinaka malawak na volunteer center sa kasaysayan ng bansa,” said Robredo in her thanksgiving speech.

Robredo also said that they will not choose who to offer their help to and that they will not turn their backs on anyone. They will fully showcase the true aspects and meanings of radical love.

On June 1, Robredo's spokesperson confirmed that they are finalizing the details needed for the launch of Angat Buhay NGO.

They also claimed that the outgoing vice president is currently focusing on ending her term, yet initial plans are being made after stepping down from the office of the vice president.

They advised volunteers to hold off on providing their services until the program's details were finalized, saying that they would be contacted soon.

The Angat Buhay program has established Robredo's public service throughout her career as a public servant. This has also highlighted her clean track record throughout the entire six years as the sitting vice president of the Philippines.

Numerous volunteers indicated real support and readiness to help the aforementioned NGO, which is expected to grow into one of the country's largest volunteer-driven organizations.
