Every October, students celebrate the United Nations to feel the equality, peace, and dignity around the school of Parañaque Science High School. Not only in ParSci, but we also celebrate them worldwide.

The United Nations was established in 1945 as an international organization. It currently has 193 nations united on it. The United Nations has changed over time to keep up with a continuously changing world. Students at Parañaque Science High School celebrate them on October 24 to show the diversity of cultures, beliefs, and languages found around the world. Countries worldwide celebrate by dressing in national costumes, raising flags, and performing musical events.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought many changes to our daily lives. This means that some of the activities we associate with this time of year may have changed. But, this does not stop them from celebrating together. Since it is a pandemic, ParSci students expressed their support by raising different flags and spreading awareness of the event by sharing it with others.

On October 26, 2021, ParSci's official school publication published an article about United Nations Celebrations 2021, which contains information about the UN and states that the UN is the international year of peace and trust and that The Momentum will continue to promote peace and trust among nations as a value that promotes sustainable development, peace and security, and human rights. Paranaque Science High School students also held a small event with their classes to raise and represent several flags to show their respect for other countries.—" Recovering Better for an Equitable and Sustainable World."

Therefore, students at ParSci continue to celebrate the United Nations every October. Even if the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many changes in our daily lives, this does not prevent students from celebrating the UN. Furthermore, Parañaque Science High School anticipates promoting the United Nations more each year.
