The Greenhorne Dynasty is the line of famous Kings and/or Queens of which used to rule over the region of Greenhorne. Most are not significant to the plot and lore of the series, except for the first King and Queen of Greenhorne, who fought in the Holy War who (for now) are unnamed, and the current king, King Alan. As well as the Princess, next to take the throne, Princess Atara.
The origin of the Greenhorne Dynasty traces all the way back to the origins of Asoulin itself over 10000 years ago. As the region of Greenhorne became quite the land full of humans. The people needed a king, and thus, The Light Guardian chose two brave souls to become the first king and queen of Greenhorne. They were humans. They eventually fought in the Holy War and survived. However they all faded into legend, and eventually got lost in time. Nothing of true significance occurred afterwards. 10000 years of monarchs to uphold Asoulin's history. Of which eventually failed. With the amount of peace that Greenhorne maintained, the monarchs grew lazy. Enjoying their wealth and abundance due to the fact they are a monarch. Greenhorne's monarchs also had plentiful Light Magic mastery. So much so they achieved near godlike magic.
It all leads up to the current king. King Alan. The king had lost their wife not long after the birth of the princess. He has quite the big appetite, which caused him to put on a lot of weight. The cooks worked tirelessly to create a near endless supply of Royal Roasts to satiate the hunger of the king. He was quite a selfish lazybones as well. He was the first monarch to never even harbor a smidge of Light Magic at all. Eventually, the idea of combining Greenhorne and the neighboring kingdom of Neksdor was brought to King Alan. And he took it! The Prince of Neksdor, Prince Baldur was Princess Atara's betrothed, much to her disinterest.

Favorite Color: Red
Powers: None
Age: 37 years
King Alan Greenhorne inherited the crown at the age of 18. To which he'd become the first king who never learned a bit of light magic whatsoever. Greenhorne was such a peaceful country, there was no conflict for years upon years. So he assumed there would never be a real reason to learn the magic other than family tradition, which he had no particular interest in. So it took the light mages of the kingdom to uphold the family tradition. He was selfish and lazy. He didn't care about anything other than stuffing his face into Royal Roast, which he had become quite fond of at a very young age.
Eventually, him and the Queen had a child, Atara. Which came at the cost of the Queen's life. Alan and Atara had a barely a relationship. He didn't spend all too much time with his daughter due to spending his time munching on Royal Roast. An opportunity came to eventually unite the two human-ran countries, Greenhorne and Neksdor, into one country and unite their power. The King took the opportunity. Not knowing, nor caring about what it truly entailed. Once Atara and the Prince of Neksdor were to turn 18 years, they would get married and effectively combine the two powers.

- Mii Cast Princess Role Description
Nickname: Atara
Pronouns: She/Her
Birthday: 03/15
Favorite Color: Pink
Powers: Light Magic
Age: 15 years
Princess Atara Greenhorne was born at the cost of her mother, the Queen of Greenhorne's life. Because of this, she never got to know her mother. What was lost in her mother, not even the King could replace. He'd always stuff his face into Royal Roast 24/7. It caused him to neglect even his own daughter. She found comfort in other things, and even other people. She grew up with the son of a noble close to the king. His son, Leo. She had also learned Light Magic in place of her father, thanks to a Light Mage a part of the Royal Court.
The opportunity also came, when the birth of Princess Atara and Prince Baldur came, to unite the kingdoms of Neksdor and Greenhorne together. The King of Greenhorne accepted the request. At a young age, Atara was betrothed to Baldur. Without any say from Atara or Baldur. Atara was against the idea and ran away from it. Chasing a love she knew she couldn't have with Leo. Baldur grew jealous and using his influence, secretly ruined the noble, Leo's father. Because of this, his family was banished from the kingdom. But Leo always managed to sneak in to spend time with the princess.
Princess Atara has moderate skill at beginner's Light Magic because of the Light Mage who is and is in the process of teaching her about Light Magic and how to wield it for when she becomes the Queen. As per her family tradition.

- Mii Cast Besmirched Noble's Son Role Description
Nickname: Leo
Pronouns: He/Him
Birthday: 06/29
Favorite Color: Blue
Powers: N/A
Age: 15 years
Leo is the son of a Noble of the Kingdom of Greenhorne. When he was a child, the noble would spend time in the castle often, where his son also spent time too. The castle is where he met the Princess, Atara. The two grew up together as friends. He was clumsy, but brave and kindhearted. Even diving headfirst into danger for Atara. That friendship could've blossomed into something more if it wasn't for a promise made to Neksdor. To reunite the two kingdoms, Atara would marry the Prince of Neksdor, Baldur.
Once Baldur learned of the feelings Atara had for Leo, he took it upon himself to destroy the reputation of Leo's father. He claimed that the noble had almost incited a war with Neksdor to keep the two kingdom's separated. The noble was unable to clear his name even when Leo stepped in on behalf of his father. It resulted in the noble being stripped of their status and meant to live as a commoner with his family. He and his family were banished from ever entering the castle or engaging in Greenhorne's politics. Which meant Leo couldn't see Princess Atara ever again.
That didn't stop Leo from visiting his friend on occasion by sneaking over. He was brave and tried his best to do what was right in his heart even if it was wrong to the masses.
