Pawna Lake in Maharashtra is one of the beautiful artificial reservoir, named after the Pawna Dam. This one is located in the beautiful hill stations of Lonavala and Khandala and is one frequented weekend getaways from the city. Being a popular picnic spot, it remains nominally crowded with young students , working professionals , little kids and their families on most of the public holidays and weekends. For those who love to be amidst nature, Pawna Lake has all the ingredients to make your day happy.
Those visiting here can also enjoy their time boating in the lake. Row and motor boating are available on site, which has actually added to the popularity of the place. Views of the famous three ancient citadels, namely Tikona, Lohagad and Tunga can be enjoyed while rowing on a boat. Some tourists just come here to witness the beauty of sunset; it’s simply a magnificent view.

How to reach Pawna Lake?
Pawna Lake is around 120 km drive from Mumbai and there are several state buses available on the route which doesn’t take more than an hour. From Pune, Pawna Lake is only 65 km and one can easily drive here. Buses are available on this route too for those who don’t want to drive.
All our major campsites in Pawna Lake are within 15 to 25 km range from Lonavala and Kamshet. If you make a group booking , we provide pick-up and drop facility from Lonavala/Kamshet railway stations and mumbai pune express way on chargeable basis.
