Capture a Johnstown Moment

Inspired by the photograph taken of the Old Bridge by one of our younger residents for the Navan South Communities Unite Facebook Page we hosted a photo contest for a local picture and put the entries on Facebook for readers to pick 4 winners.

June brings a taste for some summer sunshine so we asked you to capture an image that promotes Johnstown, its Community or sense of Spirit.

Suggestions

Nature:

birds, flowers, butterflies, bees or even your pet.....?

Activities:

walks, playing on the lawns, playing on a swing, gardening, planting flowers, litter picking......?

Magical Moments:

sunrise, sunset, rainbows, stormy weather, summer sunshine... even rain...?

Voting ends Tuesday 4th July 5pm. Winner will be announced after votes counted.

Guidance Notes

Positive pictures only and nothing offensive.
If the picture portrays children please obtain parents consent.
You must 'own' and have taken the picture (not copied off the internet).
The picture must, in someway, feature Johnstown or our Community Spirit.
You must consent to the image being displayed.

Entries

Send in up to 3 entries per mobile number / Facebook Name.
Send as an attachment either by Email or Facebook before June ends.
Give each picture a title and brief description.
Provide photographers name.
Tell us your Estate or general location within Johnstown
Provide a Mobile Number (if not on Facebook)

Prize

We have a selection of prizes offered by the community to suit u7's, u12's, Teenagers and Adults too so please state the prize group you'd prefer when you enter so that we can present an age appropriate prize to the winner.

If we are unable to agree on a winner we will host a Facebook Vote and all appropriate entries will be displayed in the next edition out Sunday July 2nd.
