The Ivy Cafe Picnics

The sun comes out, the ground warms up and it’s a perfect opportunity for alfresco dining. Lunch breaks out on the grass or back garden BBQs it’s a chance for us all to be outside soaking up the rays.

The Ivy Café is our small independent coffee shop in the Johnstown Shopping Centre which has now been serving 9 years. During the summer months their takeout service steps up a gear so we popped back again to see what’s popular:

Unfortunately the Ivy Cafe has today closed after serving the community for 11 years. It will be missed by many.

Iced, cold, refreshing drinks are always popular in Summer and our milkshakes and smoothies regain favour. We still like our Teas and Coffees too.

Light bites are very popular and can be taken out or eaten inside. Popular at the moment are deluxe salads and hot deli dishes all available in their take away newly branded tubs.

Fresh homemade coleslaws, dips, soups, lasagna the list in endless what they make from scratch all fresh wholesome items no thaw and serve at this cafe.
