February Edition 2018
In January the offer came out from the Meath County Council to sponsor certain roundabouts over the next 3 years. This raises funds for maintaining these small areas in exchange for the advertising space.
Sponsoring the Johnstown roundabout works out at less than €3 per day in fees and with our current traffic congestion any signage will certainly be noticed.
Sponsors could provide additional funding to improve the site with flower displays and even lighting which would certainly have been a focal point over the festive season....even go green for St Patrick's Day!
We're fast approaching the time for the Community to contribute to their local grass cutting fees and Residents Groups will be scratching their heads trying to see how this can be funded.
The normal Voluntary Contribution system is time consuming and often results in greens not being cut due to lack of support.
With several estates in need of funding there should be some opportunity for local businesses to get involved.
With exam season approaching we found a local who can help you overcome Maths problems.
