How to create a webpage

Policy

Maintaining the website is a big job. It requires skills from various fields from behavior to art. The most important aspect of maintaining a webpage is commitment. It requires patience, time, and effort to create something beautiful.

Completing a webpage.

To complete a webpage or to request an assignment, go on the budget and enter your name in any task that needs to be completed. Sometimes this assignment will be assigned to you.

Under the column section, the colors represent the status of the webpage.

1. RED signifies NOT DONE.

2. YELLOW signifies IN PROGRESS. If you're starting a project or task, turn the status indicator from red to yellow when you begin.

3. GREEN signifies DONE. Once you're done with the project, turn the status indicator from yellow to green. Do not delete the task. We keep it there for record.

Please take note of the deadline. Policy regarding deadlines are listed below.

Deadlines

Deadlines will ALWAYS be 11:59 pm on the date specified on the budget. Deadlines are important. It ensures that the content we produce is shown the public on time.

EXTENSIONS:

During the school year, please advise either the lead manager of the website (currently Jonathan), or one of the leadership staff (Anna or Bobby). Please contact us through any means to tell us. You must request for an extension no later than 3 DAYS before your deadline.
During the holidays (winter, spring, and summer break), advise the lead manager or leadership staff no later than a WEEK before the deadline. This ensures that we can find a replacement in time since everyone is on break.

MISSING DEADLINES:

If you miss a deadline without advising anyone, you will no longer be permitted to work on the webpage. We will give the task to someone else.
Please also keep in mind that missing deadlines also affects others perception of you of characteristics like dependability, trustworthiness, etc.
Although this policy may seem harsh, please keep in mind communication is important. Just shoot anyone a quick message if you need an extension or have an emergency.
