Each member of the spring semester Creative Writing class wrote a story using only six words. These stories are poignant and expressive, many of them addressing the global pandemic that has come to define the year 2020.

The mirror shows me no reflection.
So many words were left unsaid.
Bit the bullet, now she’s dead.
He opened the register with regret.
Can’t experience, but can share pain.
Desperately want what I can’t have.
