The Gracefully Hip is not just another tribute act; it is a raw, authentic celebration of the enduring legacy of The Tragically Hip. They respectfully pay hommage to this iconic - Canadian Hall of Fame - rock band and the national treasure that was Gordon Downie, a great performer, a prolific artist and an inspired poet of our modern times.

Hailing from the Quebec and Montreal rock scenes, the band is defined by a unique, organic chemistry: five lifelong friends and seasoned musicians who, after jamming together in their early years, reunited with a singular mission—to honor the memory and music of Gordon Downie and the Hip.

What sets The Gracefully Hip apart is the striking embodiment of the music by frontman François Fortin Tremblay. His vocal timbre, intensity, and stage presence capture the poetic and unpredictable essence of Downie, transporting audiences back to the golden era of Canadian rock.

With a 2 hour set covering most of the Hit songs from the 1989 to 2000 era, (albums: Up to Here, Road Apples, Fully Completely, Day for Night, Trouble at the Henhouse, Phantom Power and My Music @ Work), they fully satisfy the Canadian rock fans with a concert in a standard worthy of the Hip’s international reputation.
