#43. OMG it is like totally... - (All goddamn season(s) long!)

Chances are if you watched BFDI, you will have noticed Match has a bit of a tendency to reuse the same phrases.
1. OMG (or some weird variation)
2. LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE
3. Totallyyyyyy
And after a total of 20 episodes of listening to the same thing over and over again. Her catchphrase starts to get annoying.

But we would not be here if I still felt the same way. Over time, I have warmed up to it and now find it pretty funny. Match said "Like" Would you believe me if I told you she said it 60 times? And what's crazier is she was around for a total of 20 episodes! (If you don't count episode 14 because that one has her eliminated) This meant that match said "Like" An average of 3 times per episode!

If that wasn't unbelievable, what if I told you she had SIX different ways of saying "OMG"? If you don't believe me on that, how about I show you? Here are Match's six different OMGs and their meanings

Yeah, Match says the same thing a lot.

Few of you will remember, but this came at a time where Match was only remembered for her one thing she says. Nowdays she is known as the one who bullies Bubble, but back in her first season she was simply known as the one who is only capable of saying "OMG" and "Like" And that is all she would ever say, for her entire run of the series. She probably was the most annoying contestant on the show for a point in time. Everyone loathed her and wanted her to go, she once held the record for contestant who has been voted for the most times. On her second run she was the fourth boot, people hated her THAT much.

I am willing to bet that if you had a poll asking which contestant was the one you wished would shut up the most; Match would win by a landslide. Also consider she was playing in a season with Golf Ball, Flower, and Snowball! Now that is an astounding accomplishment.

No, Match, its the complete opposite. Just look at how the others react when they hear you talk.

So if I were to go through every time Match said 'OMG', 'like', or 'totally', we would be here forever. So instead I am just going to give you some of the highlights of the rare times she uses all three. (In chornological order)

Exhibit A - (BFDI 10)
"OMG, I so totally like agree"

"OMG, its 'cause we are, like, so totally like amazing"

"OMG, eraser you are like totally imp!"

Exhibit D - (BFDI 14)
"OMG, I see you chose like fruit cake for the cake. That is just totally an awful choice I mean why would you do that?

Exhibit E - (BFDIA 3)
"OMG! I totally, like, knew it!"

Match was a valley girl. There is no doubt about that. She is just about as valley as you can get.

In fact, in a lot of ways, Match reminds me of Amber.

This Amber is from the second season of Survivor. (go watch it) Amber and Match would get along really well, they are basically the same person. Amber is Match because Amber really only said one thing during her entire 11 episode run in her season. "What is it she said" you might ask. Well, it was:

There's not much more else I can say about Match except that she is annoying. She was loathed by everyone on her team, and loathed even more by the audience. Its a miracle she even made it to the merge.

P.S. OMG, after like writing that like script, I totally like need to fix the way I like talk. Oh my Goddddd, It is like sooooo hard to break this habit!
