#41. Flower gets a Pizza - (BFDI 21)
This was a small moment, a blink-and-you-miss-it type moment, but its such a great moment in the show that I can't let it be ignored.
This moment comes in episode 21, all of the eliminated contestants get a chance to rejoin the game. In the previous episode, the eliminated contestants were given a confessional to prove why they should rejoin the game.
And some were good...
"Hey listen to me and my boring soliloquy"
"A soliloquy means when no one is listening"
"Did somebody say execution?"
"I said team leader"
"He said "Aw seriously""
"NO"
And some were bad...
"I'm not even going to try this time"
"Do you take bribes?"
"NO"
And then there was Flower's confessional...
"HEY VOTE FOR ME"
"DON'T MAKE ME SEND DEATH THREATS"
"I'LL DO IT"
"LIVING IS BETTER THAN A BRIBE"
It seemed pretty clear that flower was not going to rejoin. I mean Flower was the first boot,. What was the chance that she would even get a sympathy vote? I mean, Flower is a jerk, probably the least enjoyable person in the world.
Eats babies
But then as the votes came in, suddenly Flower was on top, the might have made death threats, but they were working. She is getting votes. And she is getting a lot of them.
"See! I told you! My methods work!"
Now, Flower has a real chance at rejoining the game after being the very first boot. Slowly all the other contestants drop out. Leaving only 5 left.
Flower is liking her chances
So is Teardrop
Slowly the last 4 drop out.
Pencil is out first.
Liked less than a first boot
Then Coiny goes.
Liked less than someone who sends death threats
Then Needle
Liked less than a deranged psychopath
Then Teardrop
Liked less than someone who won't shut up
With all four of her foes gone, this leaves Flower to rejoin the game.
That's right, she somehow beat fan favorites such as Pencil, the last person to ever get a vote.
Flower has conquered her enemies, and how does she celebrate?
"High five, Teardrop"
*Zing*
"Don't leave me hanging"
Okay so Flower may have been stood up by Teardrop. But that's not the main concern here, she just rejoined the show and she needs to celebrate by eating her first cake. She never got one since she was the first boot. When Flower realizes this, she runs up to the announcer.
"For rejoining, you get a cake"
"Yes finally!"
"Its a Pizza..."
"What!?"
Her first ever cake was a Pizza. How hilarious is that?
Not amused
The first ever cake she would receive would be a pizza. Not even a actual cake.
Would prefer to eat babies
Now there have been bad cakes on the show before. Examples include the modelling clay from episode 10, the fruit cake from episode 14, and the ice cake from episode 4 (One of them will be in a funny55s article coming up)

I don't know what else to tell you about this since I thinks it speaks for itself. But Flower's immediate retort to the reveal is what catches me off guard. Goes from 100 to 0 in an instant. She just rejoined the show and she is already pissed about being there.
TLC > Pizza
P.S. A pizza is not a cake! No matter what any fake intellectual tells you.
