The Fool's Race

Austin, TX Event Window: +/- 1 week of April 1, 2019

Feeling foolish?

The idea of the fool's race is simple. Complete a full course triathlon aka an Ironman and give the money normally spent on race fees to charity.

Did you know an official Ironman costs $800 per participant for race entry? We want our money to go a long way too, and that's why we are giving it to those in need.

going the distance

An Ironman or full-course triathlon consists of a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bicycle ride and a marathon 26.22-mile (42.20 km) run, raced in that order and without a break.

In addition to training and completing the race, participants must raise a minimum of $800 for charity. Meet the Athletes and hear about their charities.

Individual and Corporate sponsors participate by donating to the charity of their choice or by contributing to an athlete charity
