It certainly has been a great journey until this point. This course was far different and far greater than anything I imagined. What I assumed would just be another core class turned out to be one of my most impactful courses yet. I was able to learn so much and teach so much information about fitness. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that I was able to share my knowledge and passion of fitness to someone else who was once in my position. Knowing that they might, in a few years, start their own blog and create a cycle makes me delighted. I wanted to highlight some of my favorite parts of this course, one being, the actual presentation regarding how to create a fitness routine. This was my first official video detailing a key aspect of everyone's fitness journey, and at first I thought it would be tedious, but as I worked on it I realized how much I actually enjoyed it. Knowing that I created a slideshow and presentation that could benefit beginners in their fitness journey pleases me, and was one of my favorite parts of this course. Another memorable aspect of this class was my interview with a fellow group member, Mateo. For his podcast assignment, he chose to use an interview, and I was honored to be the interviewee describing my experience at Hands of Hope. As a former volunteer, I never expected for me to be able to share what I did and what I learned with other people. I think as a whole this class impacted me in a way that I didn't anticipate. I learned a lot more about how to properly create presentations and my skills for presenting in general and writing significantly improved. These were areas of my skillset that were weak and I didn't realize. I hope that all of you are able to share the information you learn throughout the years as I have, and help other beginners and guide them, in fitness or in other aspects of life that you are knowledgeable in.
