Synopsis: Strange and creepy happenings beset an average California family, the Freelings. Steve (Craig T. Nelson), Diane (JoBeth Williams), Dana (Dominique Dunne), eight-year-old Robbie (Oliver Robins), and five-year-old Carol Anne (Heather O'Rourke). Initially friendly and playful, the spirits turn unexpectedly menacing and Carol Anne goes missing. Her parents Steve and Diane turn to a parapsychologist and an exorcist for help.

Intention: To create a tighter pacing to this horror classic.
