• Synopsis: Teenagers Nancy, Quentin, Kris, Jesse and Dean are all neighborhood friends who begin having the same dream of a horribly disfigured man who wears a tattered sweater and a glove made of knives. The man, Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley), terrorizes them in their dreams, and the only escape is to wake up. But when one of their number dies violently, the friends realize that what happens in the dream world is real, and the only way to stay alive is to stay awake. 

•  Intention: To create a slightly broadened and fleshed out version of the 2010 reboot.

Change list:

• Added 'TFN' intro bumper

• Replaced the New Line Cinema intro with a new one (courtesy of UniversalFan707 on YouTube)

• Used the newer Platinum Dunes logo

• Shuffled the scene of Freddy's murder to the beginning as a prologue

• Added a deleted scene of Freddy constructing his glove

• New title card with additional sound effect

• Inserted an extended scene of Kris Fowles' encounter with Freddy in attic

• Removed the scenes of Quentin at the pool, and him dreaming of being at the location of the abandoned boiler room

• Inserted alternate ending sequence

• New music over ending credits

Additional Notes:

All available deleted and alternate footage was used, except for the original opening scene of Freddy dying in the hospital. It seemed a little too useless. I can see why this was cut from the film.

There are a few others that are known of,  including a totally different ending with Quentin encountering Freddy inside an old church. Unfortunately there is no full additional video footage to use for this edit.
