Although she is ignored at first, when contact with colonists on a planet thought safe is suddenly lost, Ripley and a military team are sent to confront the aliens.

• Intentions: I used James Cameron's Special Edition as a template but moved the Hadley's Hope sequences to the very start of the film. I also trimmed the Colonial Marines' initial search of Hadley's Hope and cut the sequence where Hudson discusses queen bees.
