What began as an ordinary night of mist and moonlight turned to horror when the skies above Whitehaven became infested with necromancy. Witnesses report that an army of undead poured from the heavens like rain, attacking and kidnapping those they could grab.
Panic seized the populace as the dead descended upon the western quarter, overwhelming guard outposts and driving refugees toward the inner walls. Yet amidst the chaos, the city’s defenders rallied. The Whitehaven Guard, bolstered by volunteers from the Unbounded, held their ground through a battle that lasted deep into the night.
As reports came in, the true cause of the assault became clear: the Libertines, Vampires and heretics, had seized control of one of Earth’s Chosen Superdestroyers.
When all seemed lost, a strike force of the Unbounded launched a daring counter-offensive. Through smoke, sorcery, and blades, they boarded the stolen Superdestroyer and fought the Libertines deck by deck. After hours of grueling combat, the vessel was reclaimed, its blight cleansed before another assault could be mustered.
With the Superdestroyer restored and its dark command broken, the skies cleared. The vampire host, deprived of its guiding sorcery, fell into disarray and was swiftly driven from Whitehaven’s borders.
Some are questioning the Earth's Chosen effectiveness and how such a weapon got into the Libertines hands in the first place. For now, Whitehaven stands... scarred, but unbroken.

A detachment of Unbounded was dispatched to the city-state of Forssa this week following reports of a breach in the outer walls and a surge of undead forces pressing the city’s defenses. After a fierce engagement, the Unbounded helped secure the perimeter, mend the breach, and drive the invaders back beyond the gates.
Yet amid the aftermath, an unexpected discovery was made. Beneath the shattered streets and flooded cellars of Forsa, the Unbounded encountered a new and unknown species; a colony of sentient slimes calling themselves the Ooblek. The beings claim to have broken free from vampiric control, seeking refuge within the city.
Though their gelatinous forms and alien manner unsettled many, the Ooblek’s hatred of the vampire hordes aligned with the Unbounded’s cause. After negotiations, a tentative alliance was struck between the two forces, united by their shared resolve to end the vampire threat.
In a remarkable gesture of diplomacy, Secretary Spinner has granted the Ooblek provisional land within Whitehaven's new district, the Candleglass Commons, offering them a place of settlement and study. Reactions among citizens have been mixed, curiosity tempered by unease, but some maintain that cooperation with the Ooblek marks “a new chapter of understanding in the fight against darkness.”
"We know that the Ooblek are willing to fight, shelter us, and die alongside us in two years time, that is enough for me to understand they are good. What is going to be important is ensuring that they are safe, they are worked with, and adequately understood so that our friendship can flourish." ~Atradimas Mandragor
The city-state of Gareel, long besieged and feared lost to the undead, has endured yet another assault from the blighted hordes that stalk its borders. Reports confirm that the necrotic armies advanced upon the city’s walls in full force, threatening to overrun the final stronghold.
Just as the gates began to buckle, the Unbounded arrived; striking the undead ranks in a fierce counterattack that lit the battlefield with steel and sorcery. After hours of brutal fighting, the Unbounded emerged victorious, securing the last keep of Gareel and forcing the undead to scatter back into the wastes.
Yet not all share in the celebration. Scholars and soldiers alike warn that the victory may only delay the inevitable, as signs point to the undead regathering beyond the marshes. For now, Gareel stands... scarred, weary, but unbroken.
During this market, the unbounded achieved what many feared impossible: the restoration of Brother Mountain and the reawakening of malatite’s power, the only known force capable of holding back the encroaching Blight.
Led by the new herald of Brother Mountain, Sawyer, and with the aid of the Sibling of New Bloom, the expedition ventured deep into the Underdark, a place of twisting tunnels and ancient horrors. Their mission: to recover the four essences of the Brother Mountain and perform the sacred Cathar Ritual to restore the fallen avatar. Though three of the essences were secured, the ritual was violently interrupted as the caverns erupted with monstrous resistance, forcing the Unbounded to retreat before it could be completed.
Yet the story did not end there. In an unprecedented act of unity, the citizens of Whitehaven, joined by the Moon Father’s faithful and their new allies, the Ooblek, rallied together for one final descent into the depths.
Guided by Ragnarok's impassioned speech, which stirred the hearts of all present, the company descended once more to complete what had been left unfinished. Against impossible odds, the ritual was performed in full, and Brother Mountain’s light blazed anew. Ragnarok was later knighted for his leadership in the endeavor, earning his new title Syr Ragnarok.
Reports now confirm that Malatite veins across the region are active once more, pulsing with energy and pushing back the Blight’s advance. Hope, once dim, burns bright again in the hearts of the people.
