Last market saw the completion of two extraordinary Cathar rituals, each carried out in dangerous locales that most mortals can't visit.
A detachment of Unbounded journeyed to the ocean floor, kept alive only by complex spellwork shielding them from crushing depths, to anchor the Mother of Waves to Lady Asher. At the same time, a second expedition stood upon the surface of the moon itself, wrapped in similar wards, to bind the Moonfather to Baroness Liddia.
Pressed by prophecy and time, the Unbounded split their ranks and weathered both blinding light and abyssal blight. Against all expectation, both rites succeeded. With sea and sky brought into balance, the once-violent tides fell still... and from that calm, an ancient continent has returned, rising from beneath the waves.
Explorers and guilds are already preparing to visit the continent and explore what secrets lay within.

Citizens of Five Bridges were shaken today as the Herald of Avana descended upon the market square, flanked by what witnesses claim were newly forged Generals of Light, towering figures radiating such brilliance that many onlookers were forced to avert their gaze.
According to early reports, the Generals carried an aura so overwhelming that even the Unbounded, known for their defiance in the face of cosmic threats, held their tongues and stood still, offering neither challenge nor retort as the Herald issued warnings of Avana’s impending rise.
Only after the generals departed did the Unbounded find their voice again, rallying together in a chorus of defiant chants. Their message was clear, though the tremor in their voices did not go unnoticed: they will not yield, even to the lightborn might that stood before them.
One question now hangs over the realm like a storm that refuses to break: Can the Generals of Light be halted before they fulfill Foresight's prophecy?
Salix, now realized as the new Avatar of Blight
Ourodai, now realized as the new Herald of Blight
In a stunning turn of events that has already stirred debate across every guild hall and watchpost in the realm, Maverick was sighted at dusk yesterday attempting a forbidden ascent; an unholy Cathar ritual meant to crown him the Avatar of Blight. But before the ritual could complete, the Unbounded struck.
Witnesses speak of a chaotic clash of steel and sorcery as the Unbounded surged into the ritual grounds, cutting through corrupted creatures and blighted thralls to halt Maverick’s rise.
In the heart of the melee, as the ritual spiraled out of control, Salix stepped forward, seizing the collapsing rite and ascending in Maverick’s stead. In a flood of luminescence, they emerged as the new Avatar of Blight, crowned by fate and fury alike. At their side rose Ourodai, chosen in the moment as the Herald of this reborn Blight.
With the new Avatar of Blight formed, Maverick and his remaining forces scattered into the wilds, leaving the Unbounded battered but triumphant. This unexpected turn heralds a new chapter. One where Blight, for the first time in generations, may not stand solely as an enemy of the living. Many see Salix's ascent as a sign of balance restored, a chance for Blight to serve the cycle rather than devour it.
But one worry continues to darken the tavern talk:
What will the vampires do now that Maverick, their volatile champion, has been defeated?
