SIMPLE PRAYERS FOR EVANGELISM

     Evangelism is proclaiming the Gospel – the good news about Jesus Christ, which is God’s power to save all who believe it and turn from sin to follow him. Shortly before Jesus ascended to the Heavenly Father after His resurrection from the dead, Jesus gave His disciples an important instruction, which is popularly referred to as the great commission, to "GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS", according to Matthew 28:18-20. Every believer must play their part in the realisation of this great commission, and a good place to start is by praying. Please pray the following prayers for evangelism (soul-winning) below;

 Prayers for Soul Winning

1. Pray for a powerful and great influx of souls to the kingdom of God.

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Psalm 2:8 

2. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send labourers into His harvest which will result in a massive increase of souls into the kingdom of God.

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:37‭-‬38 

3. Pray that our Heavenly Father draws multitudes into the Kingdom of God in diverse incredible ways to the glory of God.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 

John 6:44 

4. Pray that the grace of God Almighty for salvation appears to all men.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation, hath appeared to all men, Titus 2:11 

5. Pray for the conviction of the Holy Spirit to prevail in the hearts of all people, leading up to their salvation. 

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:37‭-‬38
