Privacy Policy for The Daily Question
Last updated: September 15, 2025
Nicolas Charvoz ("I", "me", or "my") operates the mobile application The Daily Question (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
The Daily Question is designed with privacy at its core. The App collects only minimal data necessary to deliver its features and uses trusted third-party services for storage and analytics.
The App may store the following types of information:
Quiz answers
Statistics and progress
Game preferences
Notification settings
This information is used solely to provide the App’s features, such as tracking your progress, managing reminders, and enabling optional services like cloud sync or analytics.
App data is stored in two ways:
On your device – Core information (preferences, local progress, notification settings) is saved securely using iOS’s built-in storage system.
With Firebase (Google LLC) – Certain app data may be stored on secure servers provided by Firebase. This may include usage analytics, crash reports, and limited non-personal information required to improve the App and ensure reliability.
Firebase complies with industry-standard security practices and its own Privacy Policy applies: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
The App may use local notifications to remind you about daily quizzes. These notifications are created and managed entirely on your device. No external servers are involved in sending them.
The App does not knowingly collect or request any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact me to ensure its deletion.
I may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
