Incubation First Time!

The first time we incubated eggs @TheCluckityHomestead we received eggs from MyShire Farms.  The eggs were laid on September 18, 2024   The set date in our two incubators was September 21, 2024.  Lockdown Day was September 6, 2024.  Our first bundle of joy joined us September 7, 2024 which was a surprise for Ava when she came home from school to see two eyes staring at her!  

I would highly recommend purchasing the course Quail 101 from Quail University  We did our best to keep the temperature at 99.5 F and humidity 35-45 during the beginning incubation days.  At lockdown the humidity was raised to 75%
