3. Taekwondo Fridays: Kicks, Bounces, and Disciplined Fun!
Friday has emerged as the undisputed favourite among our children, thanks to the exhilarating Taekwondo sessions they eagerly anticipate. This dynamic activity not only captivates their enthusiasm but also unleashes a cascade of kicks, bounces, and jumps, all executed in a meticulously ordered fashion. In these moments, our children seamlessly transform into budding Taekwondo masters, showcasing not just physical prowess but also disciplined behaviour. It's a day where the joy of movement harmonizes with the art of martial discipline, creating an environment where our children thrive and revel in the unique experience of embodying the spirit of Taekwondo.
4. Beyond the Classroom Adventures
On June 14, 2023, our educational trip to the National Science Museum provided an enriching experience for our students. The scientific displays and engaging activities allowed them to grasp everyday science concepts, with the highlight being the fascinating dinosaurs section. The trip not only enhanced their academic knowledge but also contributed to the development of social and emotional skills through the experience of traveling with friends and teachers.
5. Sports Fiesta
Our Sports Day on September 22, 2023, was a resounding success, with enthusiastic participation from both students and parents. The event showcased the development of gross motor skills, coordination, and teamwork during mass PT displays and aerobics. The engagement of parents added to the joy of the occasion, and we look forward to organizing more engaging events in the future.

Our school echoed with patriotic fervor on National Day as students celebrated being proud Malaysians. The day included creative art activities, a general knowledge quiz about Malaysia, traditional dressing, and writing short sentences about our country. The diverse activities aimed at achieving specific learning outcomes, fostering a sense of unity and pride among our students.

9. Parents as Partners
"We consider parents integral partners in their children's educational journey, maintaining a continuous connection by involving them in and apprising them of their children’s progress. Throughout the academic year, we convene four formal meetings to delve into the anticipated milestones in children's development.
In addition to these progress meetings, we organize engaging activities to foster a sense of community and involvement among parents. One such noteworthy occasion was our Mother’s Day event, where mothers wholeheartedly participated in various games and activities, creating enduring memories.
To celebrate Father’s Day, we orchestrated a distinctive activity aimed at acknowledging and honoring the best Father-Child picture shared on our school's Facebook page. The selection of winning entries was based on the number of Facebook likes, turning it into a heartwarming and interactive tribute to the special bonds between fathers and their children.
These initiatives go beyond traditional progress meetings, providing opportunities for parents to actively participate in their child’s educational experience and creating cherished moments that extend beyond the confines of the classroom."
10. Petting Zoo, Joyful Exploration
Our school recently hosted a thrilling day with a petting zoo, providing an educational and delightful experience for everyone involved. The children were overjoyed as they learned about various animals, their habitats, and unique characteristics.
11. Upcoming Excitement, Spotlight On Achievement and Enrichment
Anticipation is building as we eagerly look forward to our upcoming Annual Play and Graduation Ceremony, featuring a captivating adaptation of the beloved story, "Giraffes Can't Dance." We hold firm confidence that our young, budding actors will not only entertain but also touch the hearts of the audience with their heartfelt performances.
In an exciting announcement, The City Kindergarten takes pride in offering optional enrichment programs that include Cambridge English, Coding, and Al-Quran classes. This initiative reflects our commitment to providing diverse and enriching educational experiences for our students. We are confident that participants will derive immense benefit from these carefully curated opportunities, fostering holistic development and academic growth.
