Ok, so when i started going to middle school, about most of the students showed a sign of thought process, but it has drastically decreased this year.
I believe everyone has their moments of being dumb, but for some people, it can be more common to become a common occurrence. I mean, don't get me wrong. I consider myself dumb sometimes, but some people can be absolutely pitiful in nature to the point I feel like a genius compared to them. Like they wonder why they are failing their classes even though they got music plugs in their ears during note taking and even during the review before they take their inevitable fifty test grade.
It has been a growing suspicion to me why the lack of intelligence grows more everyday. I personally like to believe some people have developed ultimate laziness to the point their brain has a sleep switch that flips on if they aren't active enough. Maybe that's why parents are worried about teenagers and children playing too many video games because they will learn to act like them too by shutting off automatically if not interacted with within a minute.
That also reminds me of this time recently where I was playing dodgeball with the teams as boys versus girls and I had grabbed a dodgeball and nailed Fred in the head. Soon after that he went out cold on the ground.
I probably flicked his sleep switch or something.
Coach: Trevor, your out!
Trevor: I can't get up.
I mean, the boys have about all the advantages against us girls in a dodgeball fight. They are stronger, they are more competitive, and their team is even larger than our team, however, they still lose because they are too tired, too wide, and they also keep tripping on Fred. I'm not trying to make fun of them and all, I'm just laying out the facts. I even felt bad for them especially for Fred since he has shoe marks all over his body.
That is only the tip pf the tower. Most of the stupidity within these types of people are most obvious during their attempt to try and cheat on a test with their phone. Speaking of stupidity being concentrated, I assume that's that being dense means. I'll save that in my vocabulary list unlike most words I hear at school.
But back to the cheating thing. I try to be friends with as many people at school, except the obvious people I should avoid who are the same magnetic poles as me. Although I'm smart enough to avoid the obviously bad people, some people I can be great friends with up until they ask for "help" or "answers" on my worksheet and glare at me with bloodshot eyes when I decline their call for "assistance."
After that, they still expect me to be cool with them like that never happened and even go as far as to ask me again on the next test yet they get even more mad this time. Whenever someone does that to me, that just tells me that they aren't a real friend. They are just trying to get as much information at the last second from all their "friends." In fact, they probably refer me as a source rather than a friend. I just don't why they expect me to help them. I'm not going to be an accomplice to their crimes.
Jen: Hey uhh, class is over...
Like I get you don't know the answers to some of the questions, or most of the questions, but that is not my problem. It is their problem for playing the game "Battle of Buffoons" on their phone instead of taking notes and listening to the teacher. I don't understand why they even do that anyways. If they fail their class, their going to keep re-taking their class until they get multiple years of experience on that one subject just because of a gaming addiction. I too love to play video games, but like all good things, there is always an overdose of those good things.
And I'm not singling out the guys here, the girls do the same exact thing, but instead of being lazy, sneaky, and annoying, they are rather distracting, rude, and cringy. Often when you see them goofing off, they are either texting, sleeping, watching Vide-Lols, or even making Vide-Lols during class. Sometimes they even do it while the teacher is teaching and I often get surprised when the teacher doesn't even bat an eye at them. Maybe they bribe the teachers with something to do that stuff, but I wouldn't know. There could be some kind of teacher bribery system I don't even know of for good reasons.
I try not to stare at them because one, watching them makes me cringe. Two, it's what they likely want me to do. Three, because I have an assignment to do pretty much every time I'm in a class. And four because its an atrocity to my eyes.
It's even worse when you ruin one of their Vide-Lols midway during production by getting recorded in it by accident or taking to them while they are recording. I mean, some of them don't care who gets caught in their camera, but they need to respect people's privacy and not record without their permission. However, the ones who get their Vide-Lols ruined will often scold you even if they are the problem. Half of the time when they scold me, it is because I'm trying to tell them something the teacher told me to tell them.
Usually once they find out, their voice changes from anger to anguish, but the girls often respond with peachy happiness instead since they know what would happen of they didn't. However, not all of them are that bright. most will scold a student who ruins their Vide-Lol, but some will do it to a teacher too. There was this one girl who lashed out on a teacher for deleting her vide-lol for recording in class and she got ISS for it. Unfortunately she had her lankys in that class, so the threat wasn't truly neutralized. Either way, those girls often tick me off.
I often try to think of theories on why they act like this. I'd assume they always feel incomplete without one more game or video.
Don't get me wrong, but most of these things would be ok with me of they weren't so distracting and also didn't do it when they have stacks of homework they complain about.
Now for my last part of my pain lecture. The last part is about the teachers and substitutes of my school. I think teachers do a good job monitoring and teaching, as an average, but they often get easily distracted and skip half of the class listening about how a student had their pet cat died and then next class period will get upset at the class for being behind. I don't listen to their stories if they drag them out too long and especially when they give away that the story is fake. Like, no one has a pet cat, but if they do, don't tell me why, and especially why it died.
I often try ignoring them by drawing pictures with my friend Tally and Pira (I'm not the best artist though but I enjoy it more than those dry stories), but what also grabs my attention away from my objectives are people bypassing the school dress code to get more eyeballs to look at them. I wish those types of girls didn't try to follow the dress code by a centimeter, or even the ones that do bypass it, but never get in trouble. I can talk more about that, but ill save that for a separate story.
Sometimes when a student does this talk thing, the teacher, and especially the substitute, will engage into the topic and forget the lesson. I often like substitutes for being the same role in the class and for being a different teacher of authority, but they are pretty much just older students. They will either do what the teacher left for them to do, or will get confused and give up making the whole class get behind and sometimes even inevitable homework, but thankfully the teachers usually postpone it when God is in their mind.
I don't know the requirements to be a substitute, but it must be low enough for these types of people to show up and maybe try and educate me. They either look like they just finished high school and just started college or they look like they are at the break of death. Typically the older people are more responsible, but they also don't monitor well since they got a lower attention span than we do, but the younger people just tell us to do work and not get them in trouble. I guess they used to also not monitor either, but their own kind betrayed them.
In the end, there are plenty of people in school that are great people, but the stale rotten people often float to the surface to be more noticeable than the good people, and those people are often corrupt and selfish. I don't feel very smart, I just feel like other people are just dumber than me. I mean after all, I'd like to see which students can make it to college or even can process going to college.
Battle of Buffoons = Clash of Clans
Vide-Lols = Tik Tok
