WEDDING
Two best friends. Now roommates.
Ever since they first started dating in college, Mihir & Payal had made up their mind about each other. No questions, no bumps, no discussions. They were endgame since the beginning.
We rarely come across two peas in a pod. And when we do, our level of thrill jumps up. As Wedding Photographers, it is an added bonus if your couple has chemistry. And lucky for us, we’ve had our fair share of beautiful marriages. But then there’s a new kind we just discovered: two people - one mischief. That's Mihir & Payal. Every frame we set, they’re up to something new. And always crazier than the last.
Similar to the Saptapadi ritual of the Hindu Ceremony, Mangal Fera (also referred to as Mangal Phere) consists of the couple taking four circles, or ‘feras’ around the agni (sacred fire). Either ritual may be performed based on the variations of the ceremony. While Saptapadi is more common and also noticeably relevant to the Hindu ceremony, Mangal Fera is frequently used to highlight the four basic goals of life. Each of these four cycles represents a promise just as each phere does in the Saptapadi ritual. The couple begins their walk around the fire, each completed circle representing the four stages of life:
1) To pursue life’s religious and moral duty (Dharma)
2) To pursue prosperity (Artha)
3) To pursue earthly pleasures (Kama)
4) To pursue spiritual salvation (Moksha)
A whiff of turmeric in the air, yellow-painted faces and a festive vibe all around. This sums up a traditional and typical Haldi ceremony. An important ceremony for Indian weddings, brides and grooms go above and beyond to nail their perfect Haldi look. Whether you are looking for a gorgeous lehenga for Haldi or a perfect Haldi venue to host your ceremonies, Haldi is one of the best and most festive ceremonies in your entire wedding.
The Haldi ceremony marks the beginning of your wedding celebrations where a paste of turmeric and rose water is applied on the bride and groom by their dear ones, for an auspicious start. Apart from being a traditional way to bless the couple, a Haldi ceremony is also said to ward off any Buri Nazar - and let us not forget the golden glow that the Haldi leaves the to-be-wed couples with. From stunning flower wall decor to adding quirky elements to personalise the celebrations, this special day calls for unique Haldi ceremony quotes.
