Many people are claiming to be a 'social marketing guru' or a 'professional copywriter', but what really makes you an expert? Is it capable of making sales or generating traffic through a method or is it capable of having a certified degree in the method.
All these 'social marketing gurus' could follow hundreds of people a day via Twitter and Facebook, ultimately it seemed they were experts, do they know who any of their followers are? What do they like or can they even sell them?
That's all you need to know to become an expert in any field, I don't care if you are completely unsuccessful in coding your own website, get someone else to do it. If you know everything about article marketing, then you are an expert article marketer.
I have noticed that a lot of online marketers do not like to take advice from anyone if they are not experts in all the areas, the irony is that internet marketers are not experts in any field. You can teach others what you know, because you have experience, you don't need to be a marketing guru to be able to sell something to people.
Professional baseball players, won't get selected to play football or cricket, they are experts in a field, people are going to hear them learn how to play baseball, so why not listen to an expert article marketer about article marketing?
Many people in the online marketing industry are always under the impression of being good at anything, you need to be good at everything. It's just dead wrong. I always love reading about experts who absolutely fail in some other field, but who cares? They can just outsource that area, and continue to make money.
If someone is absolutely awesome at writing articles but terrible at coding their website WHO CARES. Take his advice about article marketing, but maybe go to someone else for HTML coding, who knows maybe a coder is bad at writing articles?
