Invention of Stickers
The first modern day sticker as we know today was created in 1935 by Stan Avery, also known by his catchy nickname 'Stan The Sticker Man'. Stan created a die-cut labeling machine using a washing machine motor, parts from a sewing machine and a saber saw.
This was credited as the first machine to make self-adhesive labels which birthed the sticker, known originally as Avery Labels. To this day the company Avery set up still makes pressure sensitive, self-adhesive labels or stickers.
Stickers are still used today on a global scale, available in more styles, shapes, sizes and designs than ever before. From fluffy stickers to mirror stickers to 3D stickers, the multi billion dollar industry has created some of the most varied, diverse and unique products ever made.

Know the National Emblem
Everyone knows what our National Emblem looks like as we see it often in our daily life on currency notes. It is an adaptation from the Sarnath Lion Capital of Ashoka
But just in case you did not know, let me share that our National Emblem does not only have three lions but four. It is just hidden from the view. On close observation one may find a few more animals on the National Emblem i.e. the bull that represents hard work and steadfastness and a horse which represents loyalty, speed, and energy and an elephant that represents strength. All the animals are mounted on an abacus with a frieze carrying sculptures in high relief separated by intervening wheels over a bell-shaped lotus.

Medical Tattoos
A tattoo is a type of body art, which can be either permanent or temporary, by inserting ink into human skin. The oldest tattoos ever discovered was on two mummies in Egypt that were dated between 3351 and 3017 BCE. Modern day tattoo artists use a tattoo machine to give permanent tattoos.
Tattoos can also be used for medical reasons. For example, a person may get a medical alert tattoo, which alerts that they have a certain medical condition (like diabetes or a severe allergy). When people get radiation therapy for cancer, tattoos may be used to mark exactly where the beam of radiation should be pointed. This helps to make sure that the person gets the same treatment, in the right place, every time they have radiation therapy
