Smiles, giggles, cries, shouts , endless stories

All that together we share is what holds us together

We together fight the undone rusting battles inside us

We listen, we argue , we amend but at last we bandage

Each other’s failed attempts

Sometimes the road we choose are full of thorns and pins

Sometimes full of flowers and laughter

But above all we tell the world that we are one

Cause we’re a family ……

Is it so hard to be just you …

Why try to be someone you are actually not

The day you decide to be

what you are really meant to be,

you will forget to be

who you were trying to be.

So why is it so hard to be the self

Love yourself, the world will love you

Be what you are..

not what the world wants you  to be

Trust yourself ….

and let them say “I don't understand you!”

As you are here for being You !!

Childhood is synonymous to playing dancing, singing, laughing , giggling , jumping and of course living life to the fullest.

To live in the present is always better than living in the past and children rarely think of the unknown future.

Although kids keep telling each other about how tired they are of studying, when the new term begins , new books and notebooks infuse them  with a new life. Many promises are made , some are fulfilled , while some broken.

Childhood gives people the opportunity to experience life in their own unique way, miles away from the pretences and worries.

Childhood is that journey of life that brings a twinkle in one’s eye

Reminiscing it brings  joy and  a smile that is priceless !!

As we see the world in unrest

But this has given us hope to rest

To think, introspect and of course to trust

And to know someone inside out

We meet , we trust , we share

You and me and my old friend

Hoping it would never end

Its a journey where we are together

But some have to part ways

Choice is not ours rather its destined

Things have begun developing ,unfolding , progressing

Once the wheels are turning, there is no going back

Though we are in two different worlds

But our hearts and minds are unlocked and moving differently

The silence gives us so much cognizance and time to rethink

What we have done in the past and keep the memories locked in hearts

Being a parent …...

Letting go is the hardest thing you can do as parents

You have to settle with the past

Engage in the present

Believe in the future

We are always learning as  parents

and that the bond is forever  …….

Even as the kids grow up

and venture on their own

We’ll always be with them

and they’ll always be with us

Life is a voyage

That’s homeward bound

What is the true meaning of Freedom ?

As a proud Indian and being a granddaughter of a freedom fighter, I think of the relentless efforts of the heroes  towards making our mother India free from the fetters of British rule. We live and breathe  in free India . We can call ourselves lucky as we never had to fight for our freedom ...Now we need to understand the real meaning of freedom. The word freedom means liberty of an individual to express without any hindrances. The world is full of people who are rapacious. This explains that every individual must have freedom that is limited. Do you think law and freedom should be compatible? Well I believe that laws, rules and regulations restrict us from crossing our boundaries ...but it is the need of the hour. For instance a person who leads an austere life or a Spartan life  always wishes for unethical means to endure his or her life but the fear of violating the law forbids one to commit any sort of heinous crime. We associate freedom with its quintessential meaning ‘FREEDOM’ to do whatever we want. We all have the right to enjoy life and live life to the fullest but not at cost of other’s happiness. Law gives us the freedom to express and enjoy our natural rights but it abstains us from doing anything that harms us, the society and the nation.

Thus, instead of opposing the limits , we must magnanimously accept it as they are innocuous. Therefore, we need to embrace these limitations with open arms , specially in the current scenario as it will help us in leading a safe and secure life. Time to change our mindset and understand the true meaning of freedom. It is the independence of mind and thought and be open to what is right

The mantra is to keep negativity at bay

Just forgive and move on with the sun’s ray

At the end of life, what really matters is not what we bought but what we built….

Not what we got but what we shared…

Not our competence but our character ….

Not our successes but our significance…..

Let us live a life that matters…..a life full of love and the one that is devoid of hatred and distress….
