My name is Rachel and I am the owner of The Book & Bottle Shop. I have been an avid reader since childhood and have always dreamed of owning a bookstore. I never believed it could be a possibility until one random day in 2022 when I started researching what it takes to open a business and found out that it is simply determination and hard work. Who knew? The last two years of preparation have been long, but incredibly worth it. Now we have just six months of construction left until we can open! 

Everyone meet Scotty: soon-to-be Operations Manager and current husband extraordinaire to Rachel. After 7 years of marriage, Scotty is looking forward to supporting Rachel's bookstore dreams as a full-time staff member of The Book & Bottle Shop. Scotty brings years of retail, team management, and customer service expertise to the store, and is the perfect fit to run the day-to-day operations of the store while Rachel maintains alternate employment.
