Heating Supply
Heating systems including boilers and radiators shall be installed in accordance with the design, relevant codes and standards to ensure safe operation.
Pipework to boiler installed as per manufacturers instruction within the Benchmark book.
Boiler condensing pipe must be connected to internal waste pipe to prevent freezing.
Follow template for locations of pipes to assist with clean finish.
Working to a template for pipe locations will allow the plasterer to use the same template for drilling boards resulting in clean finish when completed.
Ensure appropriate tagging is completed before handing over the property.
Where necessary, provide boxing and access to heating motorised zone valves.
Use a former to radiator pipes to ensure they are fitted to the correct height and width apart whist making sure they are level.
10mm radiator pipe clipped at 450mm centres with hair felt behind.
Radiator pipes return into the room via a socket back box with grommets to ensure containment and a neat finish with the plasterwork.
Finishing provided to back box once radiator is installed.
Support stool used to hold installed radiator whilst decorating is being carried out.
Ensure fitted radiators are symmetrical to its surroundings, such as skirting board, windows etc.
Ensure radiator pipe tails are not visible once fitted.
