Isoedge flanking strips to be place around all perimeters.

Isoedge flanking strips need to be of sufficient size to allow for -

50mm overlap with Isorubber matt.

Depth of screed/concrete.

Underlap with skirting board.

Ensure Isoedge flanking strip is continuous around corners.

Ensure Isoedge flanking strip is continuous around any SVP boxings.

OIsorubber mat should overlap a minimum of 50mm in all locations including with Isoedge flanking strip.

Laps must then be sealed with proprietary tape.

Attention to detail required around corners.

Screed/concrete should never come in to contact with concrete planksnce installed, fully grout with a lean mix concrete.

Finish floor screed/concrete as per design and installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Isoedge flanking strip must be trapped between the concrete and the skirting board to prevent the passage of sound.

Trim back flanking strip flush with skirting board when installing floor finish.
