Vibratory Ground Improvements or Vibro Piles is generally applied to weak natural soils and filled ground. The purpose is to improve the load bearing capacity, reduce settlement and provide an adequate bearing stratum to support the foundations.
Plot required to be accurately marked prior to piling.
Pile columns located at a maximum 2m centres.
Maximum size of the fill material should be no more than 100mm x 100mm.
Trench formed above the vibro piles.
Vibro piles aligned centrally to the trench.
Pile column misaligned by more than 150mm require a new column installing.
Ring beam reinforcement installed within the trench as per the engineered design.
